Abstract
The Community21 Place-Maker-Space was an investigation into the role of place-making and maker-spaces within the context of localism agenda for more inclusive and collaborative, grass-roots planning. It involved the construction of an 'Urban Room' and associated engagement space and place-making methods in an attempt to assess the value of making for envisioning the future of communities.
