Abstract

Kerioncelsi is rarely associated withMicrosporumaudouiniiinfection. We report the case of a 3-year-old girl with akerioncelsicausedby M.audouiniiand successfully treated with oral terbinafine. Fungi identification was made by macro and microscopical colony morphology analyses and molecular (genotypic) studies.
