LGBTQ+ People and Gambling Harms: Scoping Study

Project Details

Description

The review aims to understand gambling harm for LGBT+ groups, and to explore what is known about the prevalence of gambling harm in Great Britain (GB) compared to the general population, as well as the causes of gambling harm experienced by these communities.

As an extension to the existing evidence, this review more specifically collates the interventions to reduce gambling harm and the protective factors against gambling harm for these communities, where evidence is available.

The review aims to provide recommendations for further primary research on understanding gambling harms in LGBTQ+ communities.
