I like to ensure that students leave taught sessions with a clear understanding of the content that has been delivered. This is achieved through the utilisation of a range of technologies, simulation and ultimately, providing students with the opportunity to ask questions and seek clarification around a subject.
My research interests are based around my Professional Doctorate in Education. I am interested in the support systems in place for nursing students in clinical placements, formerly known as mentoring. Using qualitative methodology, I am exploring the perceptions of the purpose of practice placements for student nurses.
