Routes into Languages: Report on teacher and pupil attitude surveys

Abstract

This report presents the findings of questionnaire surveys conducted with teachers and students in schools which have participated into Routes into Languages activities organised by the regional consortia in England. It consists of the following: * Analysis of 101 teacher questionnaires completed between March and May 2010; * Analysis of 1791 Phase 1 pupil questionnaires completed between October 2008 and October 2009 in 54 schools. * Case studies of 12 schools where students who had completed Phase 1 questionnaires were followed up with a Phase 2 survey completed between March and May 2010.
