Abstract
Book chapter written as an invited contribution to a collection of overviews into current developments, processes and practices in different fields of design, including products, furniture, lighting, digital design and new materials. Kermik's chapter 'Products' focuses on evolving hybrid practices in design, development and production with a particular emphasis on design, craft and personal fabrication as new emerging alternatives to industrial production.
