Abstract
How Do You Feel? An exhibition that took place at the Phoenix Art Space, Brighton In June 2023.
Collectarium Lockdown Masks publication as an example of a creative activity designed to help people with their wellbeing during Lockdown.
Using the publication as inspiration we designed the pop-up exhibition and drop in wellbeing workshop space to create conversations around the relationship between creativity and wellbeing.
We invited people to participate and collaborate in a series of free mask making workshops and to contribute to an evolving exhibition at the Phoenix Art Space in Brighton. We engaged local school children, teachers and members of the public to make a mask and contribute to the evolving exhibition. We documented how the activity changed the way they feel by getting them to fill in feedback cards. These cards and the portraits of the participates wearing the masks became part of the exhibition.
