Abstract
This is the conclusion of the edited collection on Media and Cosmopolitanism. The author brings together the recurring themes, major ideas, arguments and debates that have been running throughout the entire collection. The discussion relates these to contemporary social, political, cultural realities and concludes with suggestions for future developments within cosmopolitnaism studies and their relationship to media studies
