Abstract
A Chicken. Chicken skin overtaking the world. We are all becoming chickens as we live to produce, consume, produce, consume … The idea of using a dead chicken as a metaphor of our decay andcorruption had been in my mind for a while. Now, it seemed I had found a visual way of expressing it.The chicken skin woman, my alter ego. She emerged as the medium. Consumer: An organism that derives the organic compounds it needs from the consumption of otherorganisms. (Oxford English Dictionary, 2011). To devour, to waste, to destroy, to use up, a commodity, a purchaser. Irrational waste of resources(monetary and otherwise) and continuous self annihilation through the soma process of goods andservice acquisition by chicken-head-driven human-beings.
