Alzheimer's disease is the most common form of dementia and affects around 900,000 people in the UK.
This South Coast network grant supports biomedical research into the early diagnosis and causes of Alzheimer's disease across the universities of Sussex, Brighton, Portsmouth, Southampton and Bournemouth.
The grant value of £74,191 is to be used to support collaborative biomedical dementia research and scientific networking within and between the lead and participating institutions.
