Research interests

In essence Machine Learning aims to determine the most efficient representation of compressed data - the latent space - which allows the proximity of data features to be discovered, and analysed.
The same can be said of a sketch drawing.
It pares an image to the most essential elements.
I am interested in teaching machines to draw, not just detect edges and contours, but extractv the essence of an image and re-present it.
