Personal profile

Research interests

I am a part-time PhD researcher interested in understanding the relationship between vitamin D and inflammatory markers with brain-body connections in autism, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and neurodivergence. My research study is initially focussing on genomic influences and connections between the co-existence of physical health conditions prevalent in autism, ADHD and neurodivergence.

I also currently work full-time as the Chief Pharmacist for Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust which allows me to connect my research directly to people with autism, ADHD and neurodivergence; to develop and understand how we can prevent or support physical health manifestations that co-occur. I am hopeful that the output of my research will improve their health and wellbeing by better understanding the connections.
