Research interests
Hanan Alsawagh is a PhD student at the University of Brighton. She received an award from Ministry of Defence of Kuwait to pursue her Ph.D. project. This research is an investigative study about Kuwaiti women living experience of breast cancer in Kuwaiti, and the use and impact of social in their lifes as women with breast cancer. Hanan will apply a phemenlogicla approach and a qualitative method of collaborative inquiry, one-on-one and focus group discussions, to better understand women’s experiences of breast cancer in the Arab world.
Research interests
Hanan holds a Master of Science in Health Sciences (Oxford Brookes University) and graduated in Nuclear Medicine Physics and Technology Allied Health Medicine (Kuwaiti University). She works at Jaber Al Ahmed Armed forces Hospital | Kuwait as a technologist in Nuclear Medicine and she is currently on study leave to pursue her studies. She has been working as a dedicated medical professional in nuclear medicine physic and technology for the past ten years and is interested in her patient’s wellbeing as well as mentoring nursing staff about the importance of patient involvement nuclear medicine care.
Hanan areas of expertise include health and safety, imaging processing, patient’s consultation, machinery handling, medical report writing, leadership and management. She is a mother of four, a music lover and when has time enjoys social media following!
