Research interests
My research interests are in statistical machine learning, anomaly detection, data mining, text mining, information filtering, recommender systems, personalisation systems and user modelling.
Supervisory Interests
My research interests are mainly in the area of machine learning applications, I have supervised PhD students in the area of user modelling, recommender systems, in particular content-based, cross-domain collaboartive systems and sentiment analysis. I am interested in suprvising PhD students in the area of machine learning which are used in recommender systems and anomlay detection for assisted daily living.
