Research interests

My research interests primarily lie in the intersection of international environmental cooperation and trade. Specifically, my research focusses on (i) impacts and implications of policies on welfare; (ii) optimal environmental and trade policies for countries bound by an environmental agreement; (iii) impact of policies on emisions leakage within an environmental union and (iv) resulting impacts on environmental quality. I am interested in both theoretical and applied research in the above fields but have a stronger expertise in the former.  

Scholarly biography

I have worked as a consultant in real estate and completed projects related to economic forecasting and financial modelling of real estate developments. As a researcher, I have implemented projects on socio-economic impacts of trade on handicraft workers, need assessment and tax evasion studies. 

Supervisory Interests

I am interested to supervise projects in the area of public economics and international economics, specifically environmental policies/ externalities/ international cooperation on environment and trade issues.
