Research interests

My research interests primarily lie in the intersection of international environmental cooperation and trade. Specifically, my research focusses on (i) impacts and implications of policies on welfare; (ii) optimal environmental and trade policies for countries bound by an environmental agreement; (iii) impact of policies on emisions leakage within an environmental union and (iv) resulting impacts on environmental quality. I am interested in both theoretical and applied research in the above fields but have a stronger expertise in the former.
