Personal profile

Approach to teaching

Course leader and Senior lecturer in BSc (Hons) Diagnostic Radiography, Diagnostic Radiography Degree Apprenticeship and MSc Diagnostic Radiography (pre-registration).

I undertake a variety of different teaching methods but predominantly draw upon a Constructivist and Student Centred Pedagogic approach. I am passionate about students learning through doing. Students gain a deeper understanding of knowledge by scaffolding any learning from the classroom, through simulation and practical learning.

Within the Diagnostic Radiography programmes we have created an inclusive and open setting. This encouraging atmosphere is conducive to the exchange of ideas and experience.
