Approach to teaching

Course leader BSc (Hons) Diagnostic Radiography

Research interests

Charlene is a lecturer of Diagnostic Radiography. Her research interests include research related to patient care and improving clinical practice. Charlene is also interested in extended scope of practice for radiographers and raising the profile of allied health professionals. 

Previous projects include a review of communication between healthcare professionals and patients for 1st trimester combined screening. 

Supervisory Interests

I have had the priviledge of supervising both undergraduate and postgraduate radiography students clinically in a range of different imaging modalities. I have also worked interprofessionally supervising other professionals such as obstetricians and midwives in their ultrasound practice.
