In collaboration with Drs Mark Gerstein (http://www.gersteinlab.org/), Garrett Ash, and their team at Yale University (New Haven, CT , USA), we are developing new insights into Long COVID pathology (etiologies, pathogenesis and consequences). I currently lead this research project, through data linkage of health outcomes and genomic datasets provided by the UK Biobank (a population-based biomedical resource for half a million UK populations). The findings are also expected to reshape our understanding of post-viral illnesses in general.
