Abstract

A short documentary / documentation of the first ever all female games jam. The first ever all female games jam - funded by the DCRC (www.dcrc.org.uk) and produced by Debbie Rawlings from Auroch Digital, 24 women will be formed teams to design and upload a game. Mind Candy kindly loaned us their amazing space in the Tea Building in Shoreditch.The jam was part of the London games festival and was made possible through a collaboration with and support from Ada Lovelaceday and UKIE. Prizes and refreshments were sponsored by Playmob, and Connection Point Technology provided help with accommodation for our participants. Jo Twist from UKIE, Martha Henson from Wellcome and Tomas Rawlings judged the submissions.
