Abstract

Using a method based upon 2D coordinates calculations made it possible to estimate the inter- and intra-observer reliability of landmark placements within plantar pressure measurements. Results of this investigation showed that landmark placement (of small size) is not a reliable method to analyze plantar pressures in the forefoot. Results agreed well with other reliability studies: the intra-observer reliability can be considered as sufficient, but the inter-observer reliability is poor
