Abstract
A festival of installed film and video works, film screenings, live performance, writing and discussion, What If… was co-curated by Lucy Cash, Becky Edmunds, Claudia Kappenberg, Chirstinn Whyte and Gill Clarke and brings into focus cross-disciplinary practice that reflects an expanded field of choreographic thinking. What If… opened with two discussions at Lighthouse in Brighton, to offer insight into the moving-image practice of the participating artists and the curatorial ideas behind What If… This wss followed by five days of screenings, talks and performances at Siobhan Davies Studios in London hosted by Independent Dance.
