Abstract

One wonderful opportunity of deploying this editorship as an explorative tool was the opportunity to speak with people who have been emersed in researching these concerns throughout their careers. We were privileged to have the opportunity to speak with Alberto Pérez-Gómez whose work has been inspirational for both us and countless others. Alberto is an architectural historian and theorist, and Saidye R. Bronfman Professor Emeritus in Architecture at McGill University School of Architecture, Montreal. What follows is a transcript of that conversation. Our sincere thanks to Alberto for his time and enthusiasm
