Abstract
Broken 1970 Hohner Arbor series Stratocaster copy was re-built as an offset bodied, fixed bridge instrument. Existing neck was restored, new body built from the timber salvaged from an old Sapele front door which came out of a skip. New bridge built from second hand parts with bespoke base plate and string retainer bar. Existing pickups re-used. Use of scrap timber for body found to be highly effective.
