WasteWoods: Chamber

Research output: Non-textual outputArtefact

Abstract

Building upon knowledge and construction methods developed within the Hollow Waste project this instrument was built using timbers which have been salvaged from various construction projects, discarded or broken furniture and even a lucky driftwood find on the local beach. Multi-laminate neck construction with finger jointed headstock junction is being tested here with full steel-string tension to check resilience in a prolonged testing condition.
