Abstract

The paper presents a case study comparing the integration and coherence of available building occupancy data for use in early stage dynamic building performance simulation to support the an integrated building design process. Building upon previous work from the authors, a simplified dynamic simulation tool is used to quantify the impact of the use of different data on simulation results. The definition of a new occupancy datasets is finally proposed in line with the requirements of simplified early stage simulation.
