Abstract

In 2022, 145 poets, practitioners, and scholars from 14 countries around the globe gathered in Cape Town for the eighth installation of the International Symposium on Poetic Inquiry – the very first time on African soil since its inception in 2007. The Human Sciences Research Council and the African Sun Press published “Voices Unbound”, an anthology of poems from the symposium.
