Abstract
A thousand-word essay written to accompany the release of a Kibbo Kift-inspired album of music released on Norwegian independent record label, Cafe Grossenwahn Grammophon. The essay, included with the album as an insert, considers the lost sounds of the interwar English camping and campaigning group, The Kindred of the Kibbo Kift, who repeatedly wrote of the importance of music to their cause, but of whom no sound recordings survive.
