Abstract
A journal article about urban and spatial experiences of Senior Citizens and their mechanisms and tactics to cope with tradiotional, often confining and restricting domestic and institutional realms. The article also presents a series of alterntive urban and architectural concepts and strategies developed in the International Master in Archietecture Program at KU Leuven, unit 'Urban Field Lab' directed by Guest Prrofessor Anuschka Kutz. Whilst MONU does not follow traditional peer-reviewed processes, it is a seminal and well-known journal on Urbanism, examining urgent topics that are key for the future of our cities and urban regions in the global context. The Journal assembels diverse viewpoints, as a truly cross-discilinary knowledge platform.
