Professional competencies in evaluative bibliometrics: Parallel Session B.2

Research output: Contribution to conferenceOtherpeer-review

Abstract

The session sets forth to inquire more deeply into the nature of professional competence in evaluative bibliometrics. Taking competence research as a departure we discuss three competency dimensions and their interrelations for the domain of bibliometric research assessment. We will also ask whether professional competence in evaluative bibliometrics differs according to specific user perspectives and application as well as policy settings.
