Postdigital Citizen Humanities

Research output: Chapter in Book/Conference proceeding with ISSN or ISBNChapterpeer-review

Abstract

Our postdigital society makes it increasingly difficult to separate citizen research into citizen science or citizen humanities, without also recognising that interdisciplinary and cross-sector concerns interplay. This leads to the emergence of postdigital citizen humanities as an important aspect of the twenty-first century expansion of postdigital citizen science. Postdigital citizen humanities emphasise peer production, collegiality, collaboration, and co-production in research to raise marginalised voices and help to meet challenges of the future through participatory citizen research in diverse community settings.
