Abstract

Alex Bec, Margaret Huber and I were each asked to write an introduction piece for the Peepshow Collective book, which was published to mark their 10th anniversary as an illustration collective. In 1999-2000 I employed several recent Brighton graduates from the BA Illustration course to help me work on a supermarket installation I was creating for the Basic Needs pavilion at Expo 2000, Hanover, Germany. We worked together for about 6-8 months until the project was complete, after which time, having enjoyed working collaboratively as a team, they went on to form Peepshow Illustration Collective. The introduction to their book makes reference to this time we spent together.
