Abstract
An exhibition at Five years gallery, Shepherdess Walk London N1 in 1998, consisting of the first iteration of Parenthesis, a study of the lecture theatre - pencil drawings from photographs from the position of Lecturer and then viewer. In the middle where the points of view intersect, I placed two chairs facing opposite directions and a hand made book consisting of a contents page and the 120 page of hand written recollections that had been crossed out. This work came about as I reflected on important feminist artists and art historians I had learned from as an art student.
