Abstract
The title refers both to the study of the orbital movement of planetary bodies and to the study of ocuplastic disorders of the ‘orbit’ or eye socket. The show explored the parallels between introspection and extrospection and how the traditional division of subjective and objective observation breaks down on closer inspection. The exhibition included a series of nine new drawings/collages, from my on going ‘Manifesto’ series, two smaller sculptures and three projected video works. The exhibition was accompanied by an artist’s talk on the opening night.
