Abstract

On The Edge is a live and durational promenade performance, which took place in Hastings city centre on the 12 June 2022. Over three hours a group of 4 performers travelled slowly through the pedestrian zone, with each performer pushing and rolling a heavy square shape formed of two single mattresses stitched together. Commissioned by Home Live Art, Hastings UK, the project is a collaboration between Claudia Kappenberg (performance) and Hermione Allsopp (sculpture). Performers: Andrew Barker, Andrew Downs, Claudia Kappenberg, Yumino Seki. The event was documented on video and available online.
