Abstract
Objects Unwrapped is a collaborative project, established in 2017, uniting students and staff at University of Brighton with Worthing Museum and Art Gallery. Its purpose is to explore and celebrate the unique collections of Worthing Museum and to develop their understanding and communication through research and writing, exhibitions and events.
Object essays, commonly 1000-2000 words in length and aimed at a public audience, are produced by the project's staff and student members. Each explores artefacts in the Worthing Museum and Art Gallery collections to develop new knowledge. Final essays are published on the Objects Unwrapped webpages and on Worthing Museum's website.
