Abstract
This paper draws on NatCen’s observations from a capacity building project with employability support organisations.
It explores considerations for measuring employability skills, focusing on quantitative methods that quantify skill levels and changes. The report outlines the advantages and disadvantages of various techniques, discusses adapting measures for different groups, and emphasises tailoring strategies to specific circumstances.
A combination of approaches may be most effective for programme monitoring, evaluation, and impact assessment.
