Abstract
A 1000-word commissioned catalogue essay, based on a transcribed conversation with Nicky Bird, artist and Reader in Photographic Practice (Glasgow School of Art). The essay was commissioned by the gallery Street Level Photoworks, Glasgow, to accompany the 2021 retrospective solo exhibition by Nicky Bird entitled Legacy.
