Abstract

The London Digital and Creative Fusion programme has driven growth and innovation for over 1,400 London-based digital and creative SMEs, fusing academic and business expertise, creating new jobs and boosting London and the UK’s economy by over £2.7m. We felt that the achievements of the ERDF London Fusion initiative and the partner institutions involved deserved to be celebrated and so, in November 2014, Goldsmiths, University of London hosted ‘Innovation Powerhouse’, an event designed to showcase the London Creative and Digital Fusion Story of University and Business Collaboration. Partners were: Creativeworks London, Lancaster University, Royal College of Art, Queen Mary University, C4CC, University of London, NCUB, Goldsmiths and Kingston University.
