Abstract

The aim of this design-led research was to investigate whether, by establishing the aesthetic clothing desires of disabled women, these re- quirements could be met by inclusively designed seamless knitwear pro- duced by industrial seamless knitting technology. This article sets out the research path taken to produce such an inclusive collection of fash- ionable womenswear and the results and issues that emerged. This research was undertaken as part of a practice-based PhD.
