Impact of Covid on employee job satisfaction and their brand commitments: a case of hospitality industry

Abstract

The hospitality industry throughout the world has suffered drastically from the recent Covid pandemic and has seen some crucial struggling times. This paper explores the impact of Covid on workloads, work engagements, and the job satisfaction levels employee of the hospitality industry, which supports the employee in brand commitment and exhibiting brand citizenship behaviour. The paper analyses the post Covid situation where employees of the hospitality industry had faced tough times and had been though laying off from their jobs and many job insecurity issues, alongwith the ever-increasing workloads due to the financial crunch in the hospitality industry.
