Abstract
In 2018 Worthing Museum loaned 70 hats to the Spielzeug welten Museum in Switzerland for an Exhibition named Hats off to Hats!. 21 of the hats required conservation before they were exhibited. Over 260 hours of work was carried out on these hats by Zenzie Tinker Conservation, Brighton. This exhibition showcased the museum's extensive collection of hats and foregrounded the meticulous behind the scenes conservation work required for these hats to be exhibited.
