Abstract

The article features ceramic artist Louisa Taylor and her new work to be installed at the New School House Gallery in York, England. It mentions her passion for studying 18th- and 19th-century glazes. She obtained her master of arts (MA) degree from the Royal College of Art in 2006, won a Crafts Council Development Award in 2008, and is known for her stacking tableware. According to Taylor, it is important for ceramic makers to continue to evolve and move forward.
