    Abstract

Vanessa Marr is the founder of the Women & Domesticity – What’s your Perspective? collaborative arts project, which invites perspectives on this theme to be stitched upon a yellow duster. Underpinned by theories of autoethnography and phenomenology, her research explores the role of the object as a catalyst for expression and the use of stitch to tell stories, share experiences and entice change. Creativity sits at the heart of this research; this presentation will share some of the insights and investigations that have informed it.
