Abstract

Studies of specific ultra-high performance fiber reinforced (UHPFRC acronym) are developing in Liverpool, UK, in collaboration with the University of Sheffield. Attention is directed to the material and its applications from the specimens crack resistant to impact-resistant buildings and explosions from terrorism. The high tensile strength and ductility resulting from the high proportion of steel fibers make it very attractive and increases demand today.
