Abstract
In response to this issue's theme of 'mirrors', new work is developed in synthesis with research.
As series of new graphite on paper works show the body’s shadow as a reflection of the self, a formation of the body which is other, unfixed and fleeting. Shadows manifest as the self cast out and made visible, a dark reflection. Ephemeral and physical bodies become interchangeable with no hierarchy.
Presented alongside the accompanying poem entitled 'Nighclub'
