Abstract
Festival Director & Curator Kristín Scheving,
The International Experimental Film & Video Festival 700IS Reindeerland will take place for the fifth time in Egilsstadir, Iceland, March 20th-27th.
700IS has started a collaboration with 3 other festivals in Europe, with a grant from the EU. The collaborators are moves in the UK, INTERMODEM in Hungary and FRAME Research in Portugal. Each festival selects one film (from European works).
Featured work by Eloise Calandre is a screening of moving image work, 'Dark Sea'. This work is part of a series of time-based photographic works, exploring tension between sill and moving image.
