Abstract

In July 2011 I organised and hosted a major international conference in the Faculty of Arts, University of Brighton. The conference 'The Second World War: Popular Culture and Cultural Memory' attracted over 100 participants from around the world, working on wartime culture and memory of the Second World war from a range of disciplinary and regional perspectives.
