Black Sun

Research output: Non-textual outputExhibition

Abstract

A solo exhibition of new sculpture and light-boxes under a title that stems from a Jungian understanding of alchemy. In this context darkness can represent personal crises as well as a cultural metaphysical crises that still offers luminosity or the potential for healing through introspection. A magical world view is presented through the potential of sculpture as a type of paradoxical symbol or archetypal image. A text was written for the exhibition. 14 new works, the majority from 2025, some from 2024 were presented.
