Abstract

This Artist Space focuses on Transgressions 2005, an exhibition of Polish digital prints that accompanied the IMPACT-Kontakt conference held at the Zamek Center of Culture in Poznan, Poland in September 2005. The exhibition draws from prints in the collection of the International Print Triennale Society, Krakow, to depict the change in Polish printmaking. It depicts the process of transformation as a result of postmodernist tendencies, followed by the thrust of new media and photography. This exhibition was curated by Teresa Soliman from the International Print Triennial Society Kracow.
